Visualization and AI Overview 

Data Visualization 

In class, we had to chose one data visualization task to complete. I did the excel visualization dashboard and learned how to use excel to create a sales dashboard and figured out how to make in interactive through watching video. First, I constructed the dashboard dynamic using hyperlink to navigate to the different tabs. 

Then, I built the overall structure by using shapes and icons. After, I created all of the charts and visuals which include a map chart, radar chart, line chart, doughnut chart, KPIs, and more by using the inputs tab (picture above). Finally, I customized the visuals, changed the fonts and colors to match the theme, and added them to the dashboard.

AI Overview 

AI stands for Artificial Intelligence and it is an evolving technology that tries to simulate human intelligence using machines. In other words, AI is a machine's ability to perform the cognitive functions  such as perceiving, reasoning, learning, interacting with the environment, problem-solving, and even exercising creativity. AI uses many learning techniques, including machine learning (ML) and deep learning, which allow systems to learn and adapt in novel ways from training data. 

Predictions

When predicting who would survive the titanic out of the list given to us, our team made predictions based on our past knowledge. We knew women and children were let on the escape boats first and we knew that the older in age the person was the harder it was for the person to survive the harsh conditions. Taking that into account, we chose the younger children and younger women from the list would live. 

Using Code 

When I used a code to test who survived, I did decent. My score was 0.77511, so I would consider it to be a average score but I followed the instructions completely and didn't change any of the code so maybe if I did it again and changed some of the code, I would get a better score. 

Reflection

I learned how AI reads code and how it takes in instruction's to carry out a certain task. I also learned how AI takes in information and the different learning strategies AI uses.
